What Does the Public Works Department Do?

The City of West Sacramento Public Works Department is responsible for the City's road, water, sewer, storm drain, facilities, fleet, and equipment maintenance.  In addition, this department operates and maintains the City’s Water Treatment Plant, the City’s Street Sweeping Program, and the Graffiti and Pothole Hotline. View our street sweeping schedule and map.

What used to be the Engineering and Mobility divisions have branched off to become their own department!  To see information on City projects or Transportation please visit the new Capital Projects page or the Transportation page.

The Environmental Services division has also found a new home within the City's Community Development department.  To view their services please visit the Environmental Services and Sustainability Division page!
